Your loft or attic is probably the largest unused space within your home or property, it therefore makes sense to have your loft or attic fully or partially floored so you can utilise the space.
Our experienced Edinburgh flooring fitters supply and fit the highest quality chipboard flooring which is treated and moisture resistant. Each sheet of our loft boarding is 18mm thick and is tongue and grooved on all four sides which ensures a strong, safe, neat and continuous floor space without any gaps. All our loft boards are raised 25mm (1 inch) which strengthens and reinforces your loft floor and avoids having to cut notches for cables etc. Our loft boards are then screwed down so they can be easily and quickly removed without damage should you require access to cabling etc in the future.
Additionally, should you happen to have excessive amounts of loft insulation where the joint is not visible our Edinburgh flooring fitters can raise the height of your loft flooring to accommodate your loft insulation which ensures the insulation is not flattened or damaged. We also recommend that if your loft or attic is not already insulated with high quality and energy efficient loft insulation before we install any loft flooring or loft boarding you should do so. This is an additional service that we also provide.
